Personas are an important part of research, so of course we had to create some for Bellini Slushie.
Read along if you're interested in learning about the four personas and use cases we created for the Bellini Slushie Survey Question Bank. Now that we've launched the question bank, we're excited to continue to develop them as we gather feedback!
First, we combined our own experiences in the industry and secondary research to create very high level personas. We started off with just a simple chart:
Potential Personas (1 = low, 5 = high)
Persona | Frequency | Budget | Manpower | Resources | Experience |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Small Team Researcher | 5 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 5 |
What is Research? | 2 | 2 | 1 | 2 | 1 |
Translations Required | 4 | 3 | 2 | 2 | 4 |
Heavy Duty Researchers | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 |
Next, we validated these preliminary personas with quant and qual research. We included persona questions in a short survey we ran to verify the persona-problem-solution fit of the Bellini Slushie Question Bank. We also had conversations with potential users in places like LinkedIn, IndieHackers, etc.
The synthesis of these research efforts resulted in the four personas and the use cases we outline below.
Who you are:
So, you can't afford to spend time sifting through your brain, your files, the internet just to craft the perfect survey. You know you asked a similar question before - just where is it in your files?
Or did you see it online somewhere before.. hmmm..

Focus on laying out the key objectives, distilling insights and other high value work instead of knowledge management.
